St. Cuthbert's Primary School Seaham
On Friday, Year 6 were treated to a visit from local author, Adam Bushnell. We had a go at describing a rainforest and using some ambitious vocabulary. Adam brought his pet tortoise, Jet, and we used him to help us make descriptions of different animals. We wrote clues about the animals and read them out having a go at guessing what they could be.
We used our description to support a longer piece of writing and described an human transforming into an animal. The children had a wonderful time and produced some excellent writing.
