St. Cuthbert's Primary School Seaham
In Year 5, we have been creating dragon eyes in art. We used art pencils to draw the shapes of the scales and the eyeball and outlined them using fine-liners.
We investigated colour wheels and looked at complementary and contrasting colours. We experimented with warm and cool colours and tried blending different shades together to get a graduated effect.
We used oil pastel to blend the colours and and make the scales look shiny. We were very proud of our finished pieces.
