For our computing unit this half term, Y3 are looking at using Scratch Coding Activities.
We began our first lesson by thinking about algorithms and how it is important to make instructions clear and in the correct order. We practised giving instructions to each other and found out how to adapt and improve them when things went wrong.
We explored the Scratch software and discovered that sprites are characters that we can control and if we add different coding blocks, we can make the sprites do different things.
We had a wonderful time making our sprites change colour, move, spin and make noises.
