Today we are going to make Wednesday wonderful by making messages for our friends. I’ve put a video on Tapestry called R.E. Project giving you more details. Please have a look as it would be great to have all of our friends involved.
More ladybird fun today I would like you to make a ladybird friend to have some fun with. Look at the picture of the ladybird on the peg. Your challenge is to make one if you can.
Don’t forget if you find a good website or find an activity you think your friends will like to share it on Tapestry and I can pass your ideas on.
A fantastic website to look at which is free on the computer at the minute or the app has been reduced to 99p is, ” Teach your Monster to read “It has some super phonics games and lovely ideas for games and resources to print to make.

Watch YouTube for your daily phonics work. Today the sounds are:
Set 1 – u Set 2 – ay Set 3 – oa Ask a grown up to hide some of your envelope words around the house or garden. Once you have found them all can you read them to a grown up ? (If you have lost your words or need some new ones I’ve included a list of 100 common words for you to choose some new words to learn. |
| Literacy | There were two thieves who tried to steal the cow. Can you make a wanted poster so that they don’t try to steal anymore animals? Use the template to draw them and then write some sentences to describe what they look like.

| Maths | We use White Rose Maths in school. Go to home learning page Week 2 lesson 3
Today you are making maps and talking about positional language eg infront, behind on top etc. Look at the ladybird picture of a ladybird on a peg. Could you make a ladybird peg and ask a grown up to give you instructions on where to put your peg? You could hide your ladybird and give your grown up instructions of where it is hidden eg 4 steps away from the door behind a pot. |

If you listen to the Wednesday song on Out of the ark website in Week 1 it is all about being OK and how it is good to be you. Lots of your friends are missing you at the minute and it would be nice to send a message to all of our friends to cheer all of us up. I would like you to to draw a picture or write a message to your class friends that will put a smile on their face. You might also like to send me a photograph of something fun you have enjoyed doing which, will make your friends smile. If you listen to the video on the tapestry it will give you clearer instructions of what I would like you to do.
