Hi everyone – same format for Tuesday please.
PLEASE GO ONTO THE GOOGLE CLASSROOM TO ACCESS THE SHEETS YOU WILL NEED
If you can get on Reading Plus then please do as it is so good at helping you improve your fluency.
In English, we are looking at alliteration through the BBC website and it challenges you to write some alliterative sentences of your own. Maybe you could base these on your garden or perhaps thinking back to yesterday’s desert scene? You can click on the waffle and open up a Google Doc if you want to send me them that way. Adam Bushnell will be reading The Lambton Worm today so please listen. It’s one of my favourite stories and we will be doing some work on it on Wednesday using similes, metaphors and alliteration. Don’t forget that if you’re inspired by any of his stories, you should definitely send him them Adam@adambushnell.co.uk
In maths, we are going to be using White Rose to look at adding and subtracting decimals for the rest of the week. Today, follow the link and watch lesson 1 please then complete the sheet. You don’t have to print these sheets out – you could just write your answers on paper or on a tablet. There is a free app called Educreations which works like a digital whiteboard. You can take photos and annotate over the top and it even records your voice.
