Thursday 23rd April

Hello Year 3. How are we doing with the work set so far?

We are continuing with the work set by BBC bitesize so log on and go to Year 3, Thursday’s Maths and English.

I have put the link on here for you if you need it.

English

Today we are recapping verbs. A verb is used to describe an action, state or occurrence. Have a go at the activities especially activity 3. I would love to see some of your sentences. Don’t forget to underline the verbs.

Maths

Order numbers up to 1,000

Choose 1 of the activities to play. Both look fun but don’t feel you must do both.

If you find ordering numbers to 1,000 tricky, I would like you to compare and order numbers to 100. I will add a worksheet to todays work.

Geography

As yesterday, if you need to continue please do. If you are ready for the next lesson this is what I would like you to do.

Choose one of the UK cities you have investigated. Produce a guide for a visitor to the city. The guide needs to cover – Location of the city, how the city began and five key facts about the city today.

I have added a blank leaflet for you to work on. Do some illustrations to go with your writing.

Remember to have plenty of active time.

Enjoy your day.
