Lets get thinking today. I’ve included some number problems for you to have a go. We are also going to think about doubling. I’ve included a copy of our doubles rap to see if you can remember it. On the sheet are some web sites for you to play some doubles games.
If you decide to have a party you could make some party hats for your guests to wear I’ve included a headband template in case you need some help.
John used to come in to do P.E. with us on a Thursday so I want you to think about making an obstacle course for your family. I’ve included a sheet for you to record their times.
That is quite a lot to get you thinking!!
A good web site to get you active is Jasmine active some of you have used it but it is lots of fun and has so many ideas with songs and active activities I think you will like it.

Phonics
|
Watch YouTube for your daily phonics work. Today the sounds are:
Set 1 – b Set 2 – ee Set 3 – ew Go onto Phonics play and have a game with Obb and Bob. |
Literacy | Why don’t you have a bug party? Make some party invitations to invite your family. Tell them what day and time. |
Maths | We use White Rose Maths in school. Go to home learning page Week 2 lesson 4
Today they set some remembering games where they use eggs you could use numbers or shapes. I’ve also included some ladybird adding and doubling work. Some of the sheets are blank so your grown up could add numbers rather than dots. I’ve included our doubles rap to remind you of your doubles up to double 5. Some of you might be able to make up some more rhymes to help with double 6,7,8. There are also some extra links on there for some doubles games. |
Other areas of learning |
PE – Thursday is our P.E. session with John so let’s get active. Can you make an obstacle course for you and your family to take part in? You might decide to have it inside or outside. Think about some of the skills we have learnt in school eg different ways of moving. We can throw and catch and balance etc. I’ve included a sheet for you to record the times of your family members. Who completed the course in the fastest time? Can you write their names on the chart?
