Library Club

Tuesday was the last session of Library Club for our Y2 children. We read the story of The Gingerbread Man and the children enjoyed joining in with some of the parts and then re-telling it to their friends. They decorated their very own Gingerbread Man but their favourite part was eating them at the end of the story.

Making a rocket

In Science, Reception class enjoyed making rockets. They were investigating forces as part of their Science topic. They had great fun trying to see who’s rocket would travel the furthest. We tested them inside and outside to see how that made the rockets move.

Year 3 Geography – Journey of a River

Children used google maps, maps and an atlas to trace the journey of a river. We recorded the name of the river, its source, places it passes through, any features such as waterfalls, reservoirs and the place where the river meets the sea.
