Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

It’s Mental Monday so today I would like you to complete your mental arithmetic to try and beat Mrs Prest. Your score to beat today is 35!
I’d also like you to learn a times table you are not confident with. If you are confident with all of your times tables, I’d like you to learn your prime number up to 31.

For English, I’d like you to complete reading plus and learn another 15 spellings from last week’s spelling sheet.
Then I’d like you to write an advertisement for something and persuade me to buy it or use it. It could be something you have made up, something you’ve found in a book or magazine or something that is boring you have found lying around the house but you think you could make it sound amazing.
Remember to use persuasive language, keep it short and factual and you can deliver it however you wish – a written piece (leaflet), record yourself(like you are on the radio) or film yourself (like you are on the tv).
Remember great advertisers can make you want anything! They could even sell snow to the eskimos.❄️
