Since it has been a while since we communicated properly I’d like you to write me a recount of what you have been up to this Easter. I know we are still currently staying safe in lockdown and I know we are limited in what we can do but I bet you have all been doing some lovely things. You could report any walks, family nights, games, how you have kept in touch with other people. This recount will be different to any you have done before as we have never been in this situation before. Feel free to put down your own personal thoughts and feelings about isolation into your recount.
Features of a recount:
Chronological order, paragraphs, first person, past tense, time connectives, good punctuation, wide range of vocabulary.
