St. Cuthbert's Primary School Seaham
This weeks science club were exploring magnetism and investigating materials which were magnetic.
First we looked at what happened when we put the different poles together and then what happened when we put the same poles together.
Next we had a challenge to see who could pick up the most paper clips with their magnet
Then we completed some mazes using our magnets to track a paper clip from one end of the maze to the other.
Finally using cars which had magnets in them, we used our magnets to race the cars using the magnetic force. However we realised that if we put the wrong pole toward the magnet, the car would reverse and stick to our magnets!
