Friday 15th May

Hello everyone,

Well, it’s Friday and the end of another working week. I just wanted to tell you all how very proud of you I am. I know it’s not easy working at home and it’s not always easy for your grown ups either so a big thank you to them!

Today’s maths is all about number bonds to 100. If you sit at orange, green or yellow table for maths I would like you to work from BBC bitesize today. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/znmpf4jWatch the mini videos and then try activities 1 and 2.  If you sit at red or blue table for maths, then I would like you to work from White Rose maths today. We are working on Summer week 4, Lesson . I have added the link to the video and the task sheet is on google classroom. https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/

In English today, we will be doing some reading from BBC Bitesize and we will be reading ‘Cake’ by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet.  https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zhqr47hIf you struggle to read some of the text, it is fine for your grown up to read it to you. There arealso two videos for you to watch. I would like you to do activities 1 and 2 please.

As it is Friday and we usually have PE and some golden time, I would like you to have some active time and then have some fun with your toys and games.

I hope that you all have a lovely weekend and enjoy your family time together.

Much Love,

Mrs Wilkinson xxx
