St. Cuthbert's Primary School Seaham
Our football teams have played twice this week.
On Monday, we played against Seaham Trinity Primary School. The B Team played really well and demonstrated excellent communication, teamwork and sporting values. The score finished 3-0 to Seaham Trinity but the boys played a brilliant game. Player of the Match was Vinne for his hard work.
The A Team played very well. It was a great game and both teams played very well. We scored first and the goal kept coming. Evan scored a hattrick and other goals came from Perseus and Jude. Karim made some amazing saves. Player of the Match was Joseph for his amazing determination.
The A Team had another match on Thursday against New Seaham Academy. Evan opened the scoring again and scored again soon after. Karim was amazing in goal and earned the Player of the Match award. Joseph played some amazing tackles and Nithishan was solid in defence. Marcus made some excellent runs on the wing and Perseus put in some great passes from the other wing. A special mention to Jake who stood in at the last minute as we were a player short, he did a great job in defence and picked up an honorary Player of the Match award.
