A wet morning in Castle Eden Dene

Year 3 braved the weather on their visit to Castle Eden Dene. We were visiting the dene as part of our geography work on rivers. We spent some time looking at the different features of rivers and used our nets to see what creatures we could find. Due to weather warnings we completed our visit back at school where our guide Claire helped us to understand what we could find in the upper, middle and lower courses of a river. Hopefully Year 3 have managed to dry out after their soggy morning!!!!
