Online Safety
The internet is a fantastic place overflowing with knowledge, games and communities of people and we are committed to ensuring our pupils are literate and responsible when learning and communicating online.
In school, children learn about becoming responsible digital citizens through our Computing Curriculum, our PSHE curriculum and our RHE curriculum, along with assemblies and workshops throughout the year. Our curriculum areas ensure pupils learn about acceptable online behaviour, how to report incidents that concern them and how to evaluate things they read online.
We also encourage parents/carers to talk to their children about how to behave safely when online, to ensure pupils remain safe when browsing at home.

The use of social media is not recommended for pupils of primary school age however, we are often made aware of some of our older pupils accessing Tik Tok, WhatsApp, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram. Parents can find a welath of information about privacy settings here: www.saferinternet.org.uk
