KS1 and KS2 Swimming Gala

Yesterday, children from KS1 and Ks2 represented the school in a swimming gala held at Peterlee Leisure Centre.

4 children from Yr 2 took part in 8 events which included things such as: woggle relay, egg and spoon race and a treasure hunt. Although nervous, the children took to water like ducks and gave it their all, scoring many points for their team.

Ks2 took part in multiple heats against other schools, testing their technique in back, front and breast stroke. Timed, the children had to swim to the best of their ability to obtain the quickest time.

As always, the children had exceptional behaviour and were great ambassadors of St Cuthbert’s. Well done!
