In a thrilling evening of football, both the A Team and B Team delivered impressive performances against Westlea Primary, with the A Team staging a remarkable comeback and the B Team showcasing their dominance.

A Team Match Summary

The A Team faced a challenging start, finding themselves 1-0 down at halftime after a well-executed goal from Westlea. However, the second half saw a resurgence in form, with the team showing resilience and determination. Vinnie was the standout performer, netting three goals, including a spectacular strike that found the top corner of the net.  A further goal from Jude and two goals from Luke rounded off the scoring. The A Team rallied together, demonstrating excellent teamwork and tactical awareness, securing a convincing 6-1 victory.

B Team Match Summary

The B Team continued their momentum with a commanding 5-0 win. Their performance was characterised by sharp passing and relentless pressure, making it difficult for Westlea to mount any significant attack. Every player played a vital role, and the team’s cohesion was evident throughout the match. A stand out moment was an amazing goal from Tommy that left the keeper helpless. Two goals from Arlo and goals from Lleyton and Benjamin rounded off the scoring for the B Team. The B Team’s defense remained solid, while the forwards were clinical in front of goal, securing a comprehensive victory that highlighted their strength and skill.
