Yesterday we launched the Mission Together “Lent through a lens” competition. We are asking all children over half term to take a photograph of something which they think represents Lent.
On the back of the entry sheets there is some space for children to generate ideas to help them to decide what to photograph.
All entries submitted will be judged in school for each class and then those will sent off to Mission Together to go into their competition. As a school we will display the children’s contributions. Participation is one of the Gospel Values we promote in school so we are looking forward to seeing all of your entries.
Any entries can be emailed to class teachers or directly to Miss Huntley at l.huntley@stcuthbertsprimary.com
Take a look at our first entry in from Isaac in Y6! Nature linking to caring for our common home and a heart shaped rock symbolising the love we show one another during Lent, the love Jesus showed towards us by making the ultimate sacrifice and symbolising the rock which was placed in front of his Tomb. Absolutely wonderful first entry!
