Our Castle Visit

Reception Class set off to Durham Castle in the snow this morning. They had lots of fun finding out what it would be like to live in a castle. We looked at the different parts of a castle and some of us dressed up as the King and the Prince Bishop. We got the chance to make our own castle and then we had a competition to see which group could make the strongest castle wall. We realised it had to be tall and wide. Some of  our grown ups threw missiles at the wall we made to see how strong it was. It survived the attack!
