Today is all about getting ready for VE day. Tidy your house, set a table, write some invitations to your family members in your house, make some bunting or poppies, display a soldier or some drawings in your window and cook some treats for a special VE day celebration on Friday if you are able to.
I’ve added some recipes from wartime to the Google Classroom as well as a PPT of a famous artist who painted VE day in case your grown ups need you to have a busy job while they are working. You can also access the maths activities for today on Bitesize and Reading Plus / Rockstars as normal.
