Good morning Year 1 Thank you again for all of the fantastic work you have been sending me. Your party menus looked delicious, I’m sure you will have a great time tying all of that food on your VE day celebration!

 

English

For our English today I would like you to use Write a recipe for one of the items from your menu. Remember begin your sentences with our time openers first, next, then, after, finally etc and your bossy verbs – chop, mix, pour,  etc.

 

Maths

Today we will be using our knowledge of number bonds and fact families to find the missing parts on a part whole model. Click the link below, watch the video and complete the activities under lesson 3.

Today I would like you all to get creative and make your very own Union Jack flag. You could make a collage, using things like red lentils, or glitter or you can use felt tips or paint. You could make one for everyone in your house to wave at your VE party on Friday.
