Wednesday 29th April

Good morning Year 1,

English

For our English today I would like you to describe the setting in the picture on the work sheet. When you are writing think about your senses. What can people see in the picture? What does the grass smell like? What are the people having a picnic eating? Remember from our sentence work yesterday that all of your sentences need to begin with a capital letter, have finger spaces and full stops. Use some of the adjectives in the word bank to help you write really descriptive sentences.

Maths

In maths we are going to be continuing our work with quarters. Follow the link below

Science

For our science to day I would like you to have a look in your garden or go for a walk/cycle/scoot and try and identify some wild plants. In the table below use a tally to count how many of each wild plant you can find. Did you come across any wild plants you didn’t see on our table?

Have a lovely day and stay safe!
