A bit of a catch up day Year 5. Some of you have whizzed through while others are still busy and ideally I would like your lovely bits of writing finished off. So a few options:

1. I’ve attached some flashback 4 tasks
2. You can go onto Reading Plus. For those of you who weren’t in school a couple of weeks ago, this is a good way to do some speed reading and improve your vocabulary. It is tricky to begin with but that is only while it is finding the right level for you. Don’t get a grown up to help because then it won’t get your vocabulary level right just for you. Type reading plus into google – click on student login. Put in your details – see Google Classroom to find these out. Watch the video and answer the questions.

5. You could do the lesson on thousandths in Week 1 of the White Rose Home Learning
6. Adam’s story yesterday was about a Greek myth – he gave ideas for things to do at the end e.g. designing an island where Odysseus had to fight fire breathing unicorns or other mythical creatures. Write a story, design a creature or make a journey map for Odysseus showing the islands he could visit.
7. Choose something to do some writing or a piece of research about yourself. Maybe another nature documentary, maybe a planet… up to you. I am trying to learn all the flags obviously!!
