It’s Thankful Thursday! May sure you think of the things you are thankful for today! Talk about it on the class stream with your friends. Don’t forget to thank the adults helping you with your work and looking after you!

If you haven’t already –  plan the VE Day celebration party in detail. What music will you play?  The We’ll meet again song? Maybe some Glen Miller? I love his music. Can you find out about dances like the Lindy hop and have a go! What food are you having? Perhaps research some wartime recipes or just make simple party food that you can help with. Are you decorating a room or going outside if the weather is fine? Have you made some bunting or flags? I’ve posted ideas all week to help you.

Today- Design and make a VE Day Medal or a medal that you’ll give to someone when our distancing is over? A medal for someone who deserves a thank you in the current situation!

Maybe write a prayer or poem about something or someone you are thankful for?
