In a fantastic match, the B-Team’s place in the Turns Family Cup final was secured in a thrilling semi-final victory against Ryhope Juniors. Demonstrating their determination and teamwork, the B-Team played their hearts out, culminating in a 3-1 win.
The game had been an intense affair, but the B-Team’s resolve was unshakable. They started strong and maintained control throughout, despite an early lead from Ryhope Juniors. The defence, led by Will and Theo, stood resolute, and goalkeeper Chloe made key saves to keep the score line intact.
Reece’s two goals put the B-Team in a commanding position, and Tommy’s well-taken strike, set up by Will’s expertly timed through ball, sealed the win and sent the B-Team into the final.
The victory in the semi-final was made even sweeter by the fact that the A-Team had already secured their place in the Harry Page final, meaning both teams would now bring home some silverware as runners-up and have a chance of winning their respective cups.
